What's Inspiring Me Today?

Life's speeding up. I'm taking time to appreciate today's goodness.

1. People who celebrate differences.

2. A committee member who tweeted that I motivated her. #reallysweet

3. A friend who presented me with a bag of candy that had an exact amount from now until the marathon so that I have one each day. Attached to each piece of candy was a motivational quote. I love you, Shan.

4. I went to a garden today to volunteer for my class and at first I was hesitant and nervous. But I actually loved it. It relaxed me. I was kinda lovin' the weather, too! And I chatted with people I would not have normally talked with-- and that's kinda cool.

5. Late night "study" sessions in the office.

6. My committee learning a dance in an area that was WAY too small. And them bonding together.
7. Not winning Duke tickets, but making serious bar plans to watch the game with other seniors who didn't receive tickets. Kind of ridiculous and still perturbed, but I'll have a good time.

8. Satisfaction of planning a fund-raiser that you hear a lot of people and families are interested in coming to.

10. Making plans for after the marathon that include: spontaneous trips and many, many friend dates
