When the alarm sounded this morning, I pressed the snooze button about 3 times. I was in denial about leaving the beach. So I went for a short jog-- hopped in the shower-- packed and left. Still wearing "my beach clothes" and not sorry one little bit.
But the beautiful weather and the Carolina atmosphere made coming back a bit easier.
Today was busy-- filled with meetings and wrap-ups and class. I ran this errand and that errand and listened to my new favorite song...Thank you, Abby, for sharing!
Thank you to all of you who continually follow my blog. Supposedly I stepped on some toes the other day when I apologized to just my family for not writing in a while. My favorite of thost many conversations about it went a little something like this: "Shut up, Carrie!" (out of the blue). "What, Sarah?" "I read your blog everyday and I am definitely not related in any way ever, you golden retriever."
So thank you family AND friends. It makes me happy to write-- makes me happier to know you read.
So much good news this week from friends accepting jobs in new locations to friends accepting to go to particular graduate schools-- I am so proud of all of you and will need to start putting aside money to come visit you. And I'm waiting patiently for my own plans to follow suit.
