Summer Projects

There is no doubt I do what I love

Today I finished up my budget and mid-summer report for UNC Dance Marathon.  I did some "dreaming big". I have a lot of hopes and goals for the next year and I cannot wait to get back to Chapel Hill (although I don't want this summer to end either) and start working full time on this amazing organization.  I need to make sure that my productivity level for UNC Dance Marathon raises in the next month 10-fold, because summer is quickly slipping away and my "to-do" list is longer than it should be at this point.

I also realized that a new planner with more space is going to be a must.

Today the summer newsletter came out. Check it out here!

I'm interning at the National Down Syndrome Society this summer and they also released their July Newsletter. Most importantly, there is only two more weeks to submit a picture for the annual Times Square Video. If you know of a loved one or friend with Down Syndrome and you want to honor them, send in your pictures here! The pictures submitted so far are great! Keep them coming!

Today I sat by the ocean and let the sound of the moving water lull me into a stupor. I'm in love with the ocean. It always has all the answers. I never really like sitting out in the sun because I always feel like I can be more productive elsewhere, and let's be real, I cannot sit still for longer than.... well, at all.

Today also began my July Challenge. I hope to exercise everyday this summer. I exercised today as I run/walked my way through the crowds getting yelled out (good and bad) for sporting my UNC gear. Then I came back after my run and a couple hours later ate a milkshake. What can I say?

We have a beautiful view.

Emily got a new headband--so cute!
And I got to skype with Emily last night. I miss that sassy friend of mine!

Peace. Love. For the Kids.
