Three of us piled into my car and headed to Asheboro. One got left behind because she wasn't feeling too hot. There were new tunes blaring on the radio thanks to a mixed CD. I love mixed CDs-- they set that vibe-- that we're-on-an-adventure-and-we-are-going-to-make-memories vibe. You know what I'm talking about?
I required all of us to call it "The Zoological Park" in order to make it seem like we were going to do something really mature and educational. You know, because the average age at the zoo was 1.75. We brought up the average age to 2.
But holy fun. Have you ever seen a pregnant giraffe? Well, here you go.
Olivia wanted to play this Jumanji game while this kid watched her like she was certifiably nuts. |
Meanwhile, Sally stayed home and slept. Just like these lions. |
We traded in our other wheels for this sweet new ride. Suddenly, a T-rex came out of no where.
And then I rode home on a giraffe. It was incredible. YOLO.

On the way home from "The Zoological Park", we decided to take the scenic route through the countryside on the back way to Pittsboro. We stopped at an old fashioned soda shop. You know I was in antique-heaven.
Hello, cherry vanilla milkshake. Loved it.
Big weekend ahead. Be back soon.
Always,
Carrie
